what is brain gym?

Brain Gym® is a program of simple and enjoyable movements & activities performed in an intentional way to optimize the functioning of the brain. The 26 movements contained in Brain Gymare safe and effective for people of all ages, and bring about dramatic and often quick improvements in many areas of life, enhancing our ability to learn and process information. Brain Gym was created in the 1960s and ’70s by learning specialist Dr. Paul E. Dennison & his partner Gail E. Dennison.

Why do we need Brain Gym?

Gone are the days of giving a pill to fix it – many people are waking up to realize that is not the answer and there is so much more we can do without the need to take medication with the so-often devastating side effects. Education is still lagging far behind science in many areas. Much more awareness, understanding, and help is still needed in the majority of the educational system. Why is there such an epidemic of children with Learning Difficulties, Autism, AD(h)D, and many more? This is new in human history. Parents are struggling to cope with these challenging conditions. Chronic stress for much of society is at an all time high. Dementia & Alzheimer’s are at an unprecedented high in a way that it wasn’t only 100 years ago. What are we doing to create this? And how can reverse all this? It doesn’t have to be this way. Becoming aware of the changes we can make to restore our brain and body health, we can take action and reclaim our lives. Cutting edge brain research is showing tons that can be done, through movement, mindfulness-training, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

Children, and adults, NEED to move to learn and grow their amazing brains and become who they were truly meant to be! At any age we can grow and develop our brains – we just need to know what to do and do it! And share it! We were meant to have nothing less than a Super Brain and to live life to the fullest, joyful, healthy, and comfortable in our bodies.
